Ha~ Me again. Today post will be about photo retouch, and that's my second tutorial online exercise. Basically, I will need to fix up a photo by changing its layer color using Adjustment layer technique. Before that, let me show you my final work first.

This is it. The picture above is the original copy while the below one is the edited version. To do this, you have to follow certain steps:

Step 1. Change the layer color to black and white:
Open the original picture using Photoshop. Go to layer > new adjustment layer > black & white.

For my picture, the color adjustment will be:
Reds = 40
Yellows = 60
Greens = 40
Cyans = 60
Blues = 20
Magenta = 80

Step 2. Snow effect:
To have the snow effect, create a new layer. Color it using black color. Go to Filter > Artistic > Sponge.

Next, go to image > adjustment > threshold. Adjust the threshold level until you are satisfy with it.

Now, go to filter> blur > motion blur. Adjust the distance.

Finally, change the layer 1 into screen.

Now you should have an image like this.

Step 3: Put in your name and character
This is easy, write down your name on the picture using Type tool. For the character picture, I draw it using Adobe Illustrator before transferred it to Photoshop. Adjust the position and it is done. =D
